DIY Instructions for Replacing a WPW10225581 Whirlpool Defrost Thermostat
Tools Needed:
-Screwdriver
-Wire cutters
-Wire strippers
-Voltmeter
-Replacement WPW10225581 thermostat
Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet before beginning the replacement. Then, remove the rear panel of the freezer compartment and locate the defrost thermostat.
Step 2: Carefully remove the fasteners securing the existing thermostat to the wall of the freezer compartment, using a screwdriver.
