1. Gather the necessary tools and materials for this job. You will need a screwdriver, paint brush, white touch-up paint, rubbing alcohol, cotton swabs, white paint thinner, and masking tape.
2. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket and disconnect all wires before beginning any work.
3. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws from the appliance’s exterior. Carefully remove the appliance’s cover to expose the touch-up area.
4. Clean the touch-up area with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. Thoroughly rinse with water to make sure all the alcohol has been removed.
5. Tape off the surrounding area with masking tape to prevent paint from getting onto unwanted surfaces.
6. Apply paint thinner to the touch-up area and wipe away any impurities such as dirt and grease.
7. Dip a clean brush into the 72017 Whirlpool Appliance Touch Up Paint, White, and apply it to the touch-up area. Make sure that the paint is spreading evenly over the surface and creating an even coat.
8. Allow the paint to dry completely.
9. If necessary, apply a second coat of paint.
10. Replace the appliance’s cover and reconnect all wires before plugging it back into the wall socket.
