WPW10512946 Whirlpool Dryer Tri-Ring Drum Roller
The Electric Dryer Tri-Ring Retainer holds the drum support rollers and idler pulleys onto their shafts inside the appliance. If your dryer starts to squeal or rumble during use, the current retainers may have become tangled up or overheated and the rollers and pulleys are no longer connected properly. Replacing one or more of the retainers could alleviate these issues. Note that the tri-ring retainers are sold separately. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, considerable disassembly of the dryer and intermediate repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
