Replacing the Whirlpool WP354987 RING-E
1. First, prepare the necessary tools. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a flat-head screwdriver.
2. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and turn off the water supply to the refrigerator.
3. Remove the contents in the freezer and refrigerator section, if applicable.
4. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screws located at the back of the refrigerator that secure the inner panel.
5. Carefully pull away the inner panel and set it aside.
6. Locate the Whirlpool WP354987 RING-E in the rear of the refrigerator. It is a circular gasket that seals the inner panel to the outer cabinet.
7. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry off the old gasket. Be careful not to scratch or damage the surfaces surrounding the gasket.
8. Clean the surfaces where the old gasket was attached.
9. Place the replacement Whirlpool WP354987 RING-E into position. Make sure it is firmly seated in place.
10. Using the Phillips screwdriver, reattach the inner panel to the outer cabinet.
