1. Disconnect the power to your Whirlpool WP63907 appliance and shut off the water supply.
2. Open the appliance door and remove any shelves or racks from the interior.
3. Use a nut driver or socket wrench to loosen and remove the mounting screws around the perimeter of the door.
4. Carefully lift the door away from the appliance and set it aside.
5. Look for the spring located inside the frame of the appliance near the hinge.
6. Use a pair of needle-nose pliers to unhook the top of the spring from the hinge mechanism.
7. Take out the old spring, then attach the new spring by looping it through the hinge mechanism.
8. Place the door back onto the appliance and reattach the mounting screws.
9. Turn on the power supply and water supply and make sure the door is securely in place.
10. Test the spring's tension and adjust as needed.
