WP4387503 Whirlpool Refrigerator Bimetal Defrost Thermostat
This Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat is a safety device that clips onto the evaporator in the freezer. The thermostat turns off the defrost heater in case it gets too warm in the freezer section. If your refrigerator does not defrost, replacing the thermostat may alleviate this issue. To access the part, open the freezer door and remove the shelves, mounting brackets (if they release), and the ice bucket. After you remove the back panel, the defrost thermostat is mounted to the end of the evaporator. Replacing the element will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

Replacing the Whirlpool WP4387503 BIMETL-DEFLECTOR
Instructions
1. Unplug your dryer before beginning any service or maintenance. Disconnect the dryer’s power source to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Turn off water supply valve and disconnect the inlet hose from the back of the dryer.
3. Remove the lint filter and unscrew the two screws located on either side of the filter opening.
4. Remove the top panel and unplug the electrical connection for the old deflector.
5. Remove the four screws that are holding the old deflector in place and remove the old deflector.
6. Take the new deflector and insert it into the dryer, making sure to align it properly.
7. Secure the new deflector with the four previously removed screws.
8. Plug in the electrical connection to the new deflector and replace the top panel.
9. Reattach the two screws on either side of the lint filter opening.
10. Reconnect the inlet hose to the back of the dryer and turn on the water supply valve.
11. Plug the dryer back in and test your new deflector to ensure that it is working properly.
