WP339956 Whirlpool Foam Seal
This Dryer Lint Screen Foam Seal forms a seal to prevent air from escaping the rear of the dryer drum and the lint duct. This model comes with adhesive backing and is located in between the lint chute and the bulkhead of your appliance. You may need to replace this part if your clothing is taking too long to dry, or if your dryer is not generating enough heat or no heat at all. Measures approximately 28" L x 1" W. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience.

Replacing the Whirlpool WP339956 Seal
Tools Needed:
#1 Phillips head screwdriver
Needle-nose pliers
Instructions:
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply line to the unit.
2. Locate the old seal. It is located on the top and bottom of the refrigerator door.
3. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove any screws that are holding the old seal in place.
4. Carefully remove the old seal and discard it.
5. Take the new seal and carefully place it around the door frame, making sure to line up the corners.
6. Use the needle-nose pliers to secure the seal in place by pushing the retaining tabs into the grooves along the edge of the refrigerator door.
7. Plug in the refrigerator and turn the water supply line back on.
8. Inspect the seal to make sure it is secure and there are no gaps or leaks.
9. You have successfully replaced the Whirlpool WP339956 seal.
