Replacing the W10422851 Whirlpool Ice Bucket Auger is an easy DIY project for anyone with basic technical skills. It is also a repair that can help save money by avoiding the cost of hiring a technician. Follow these steps to complete the replacement.

1. Unplug your refrigerator from the wall outlet and turn off the water supply to it.

2. Withdraw the ice bucket from the freezer section. Carefully remove ice from the bucket, if any is present.
