The Dryer Idler Pulley Arm attaches to the idler pulley wheel and the idler pulley wheel helps the drive belt rotate the dryer drum. The main reason you might need to replace this part is if the bearing is damaged. To access this part, you'll need to remove your dryer door and the front panel of your dryer. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley.
