WPW10074580 Whirlpool Agitator Inner Cap and Seal
This Top Load Washer Agitator Dust Cap fits over the top of the agitator to protect the inner components of the part during operation. If the current cap for your agitator has been lost, damaged or deformed, you can easily replace it with this item. This part also includes the seal. Replacing this part may require basic hand tools and minor disassembly of the washing machine (depending on your model). You will not need previous repair experience. Be sure to unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. You must also turn off the hot and cold water supplies. We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
