This Top Load Washer Lid Hinge Space is located between the hinge of the appliance and the lid, allowing it to open and close properly. If one or more of the existing spacers are missing or broken and the lid is rattling against the hinge, this part may alleviate the issue. Note that your washer's lid requires (2) total hinge spacers for proper operation; each spacer is sold separately. Replacing this part will require minor disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
