Step by Step Instructions for Replacing the WP308180 Whirlpool Range / Wall Oven Bake Element, 2600W 240V
1. Disconnect the power supply to the Whirlpool wall oven by unplugging the unit from the wall outlet or turning off the circuit breaker.
2. Take off the oven door using a flat blade screwdriver to remove the screws attaching it.
3. Remove the oven racks.
4. Reach into the back of the oven cavity and unscrew the mounting screws on the bake element.
5. Pull the bake element out of the oven and take note of the wires connecting it to the rear wall.
6. Disconnect the wires from the old bake element.
7. Install the WP308180 Whirlpool bake element in the oven cavity.
8. Connect the wires from the oven to the new bake element.
9. Replace the oven racks and oven door.
10. Reconnect the power supply to the Whirlpool wall oven.
