WP74010750 Whirlpool Oven Bake Element
This Range Lower Bake Element provides constant heat from the lower oven during the cooking process. If your oven does not bake properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Make sure not to let the wires fall back into the oven wall when disconnecting them from the existing part. This oven bake element features push-on terminal ends. Replacing the WP74010750 Whirlpool Bake Element
1. Unplug the oven from the wall and turn off the gas supply if applicable.
2. Remove the racks from the oven and take off the back panel covering the bake element.
3. Disconnect the two wires connecting the bake element to the oven.
4. Loosen the screws holding the element in place.
5. Slide out the old bake element.
6. Replace it with the new WP74010750 Whirlpool Bake Element.
7. Reattach the two wires to the element.
8. Tighten the screws to secure the element in place.
9. Replace the back panel and the racks.
10. Plug the oven back into the wall and turn on the gas supply if applicable.
