DIY Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Blade Replacement
Step 1: Turn off the power to your refrigerator. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall and shut off the water supply.
Step 2: Remove the panels from the back of the fridge using a screwdriver. Be sure to mark the two sides before removing them.
Step 3: Use a flashlight to locate the evaporator fan blade in the lower left corner. It should be near the compressor.
Step 4: Unscrew the fan blade and carefully remove it.
Step 5: Inspect the new fan blade and make sure it is compatible with your fridge model.
Step 6: Install the new fan blade by lining it up with the existing screws and tighten.
Step 7: Replace the fridge's panels and reconnect the power supply.
Step 8: Test out the refrigerator to make sure it is working properly.
