Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool 6802A Grease Filter
1. Unplug your range hood from the power source before replacing any parts.
2. Locate the filter by removing the fan grille and examining the right side of the motor housing.
3. Carefully remove the old filter by first grasping the sides of the filter and then lifting it out of the filter compartment to avoid damaging the filter or range hood.
4. Once the old filter is removed, use a damp cloth and lightly dampen it to clean the filter compartment.
5. Take the new Whirlpool 6802A grease filter and insert it into the filter compartment, being careful to align the filter tabs with the slots in the compartment.
6. Securely press down on the top of the filter to make sure it’s in place.
7. Reinstall the fan grille and plug the range hood back in.
8. Your new Whirlpool 6802A grease filter has been successfully installed!
