Replacing the Whirlpool WP67003638 CLOSER
Tools Needed:
-Socket wrench
-Various sized sockets
-Flathead screwdriver
-Phillips screwdriver
Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool WP67003638 CLOSER:
1. Locate the closer panel on the back of the refrigerator by looking inside the appliance. The closer panel should be behind the upper freezer drawer.
2. Disconnect the power to the refrigerator by unplugging it from the outlet. This is to ensure safety when working with electrical components.
3. Use a socket wrench and the appropriate socket size to loosen the screws that secure the closer panel to the refrigerator. Once the screws are removed, you can take off the panel.
4. Remove the existing closer by taking out the two screws that secure it in place. Carefully pull the closer out of the refrigerator.
5. Insert the new Whirlpool WP67003638 CLOSER into the refrigerator and secure it with the two screws.
6. Place the panel back onto the refrigerator and use the socket wrench with the appropriate size socket to secure the screws.
7. Reconnect the power to the refrigerator and check for proper operation before putting everything back into the refrigerator.
