WP33002535 Whirlpool Dryer Drive Belt
This Dryer Drum Belt circles the dryer’s drum and attaches it to the motor to create constant motion during the drying cycle. If your dryer’s motor is running but the drum isn’t turning, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This part features 4 grooves with 5 ribs. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: While the dryer is disassembled, consider replacing the idler pulley (item WP6-3700340) as well.

1. Unplug your washing machine from the wall socket and shut off the water supply.
2. Turn the power to the washer off and remove the electrical cover on the back of the washer.
3. Loosen the two screws that secure the pump assembly to the washer cabinet.
4. Pull the pump out of the cabinet and turn it upside down to locate the belt.
5. Remove the old belt and replace it with the new WP33002535 Whirlpool Drive Belt.
6. Reattach the pump and slide it into place in the cabinet.
7. Secure the pump with the two screws and replace the electrical cover.
8. Plug the washer back into the wall socket and turn on the water supply.
9. Turn the washer on and test the new belt for any problems.
