W11447673 Whirlpool Range Tip Anchor
The Range Anti-Tip Bracket Kit is designed to safely secure select ranges to the floor. The anti-tip bracket provides extra protection when excess force is applied to an open oven door. This kit includes 1 bracket and 4 mounting screws. Please check your appliance's use and care manual to ensure this is correct for use with your appliance. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item. Also make sure to turn off the gas valve before the repair as well.

Step 1: Before attempting to replace the W11447673 Whirlpool Range Tip Anchor, shut off the power to the range at the breaker box.
Step 2: Open the oven door and remove the two screws that secure the oven back to the wall.
Step 3: Gently pull the back panel away from the wall and use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the four screws that hold the tip anchor in place.
Step 4: Once the screws are removed, the old tip anchor can be easily lifted out.
Step 5: Carefully insert the new W11447673 Whirlpool Range Tip Anchor into the holes where the old one was located.
Step 6: Secure the new tip anchor with the four screws and close up the back of the oven.
Step 7: Turn the power back on at the breaker box and reset the oven clock to the correct time.
