The Top Freezer Refrigerator Drawer Slide Rail supports the crisper drawers inside the appliance and allows them to slide in and out smoothly. This white plastic part is located at the bottom of the refrigerator and is designed to support the center portion between the two drawers. Replace a Whirlpool WP2163835 Track
1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet and lay it on a flat surface such as a work bench or table.
2. Remove any screws or clips holding the Whirlpool WP2163835 track in place.
3. With the track removed, examine the upper roller for any signs of damage or wear. If the roller is bent or damaged, you will need to replace it before installing the new track.
4. Insert the new track into the same grooves that the old one was in. Make sure the upper roller sits securely within the grooves of the track.
5. Secure the track in place with any screws or clips that were removed.
6. Plug the appliance back into the power outlet.
7. Test the appliance for proper operation.
