The Refrigerator Water Reservoir Coil holds the water for the appliance's dispenser and allows it to cool before use. If the existing reservoir line is cracked or damaged, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To access the part, remove the drawers and shelving from the refrigerator then remove the lower access panel. Inside the refrigerator, push the reservoir coil through the bushing and pull it forward to disconnect it from the coupler at the bottom of the appliance. Remove the back panel to disconnect the line from the water inlet valve. You'll then be able to remove the screw securing the old coil and pull the lines out of the refrigerator compartment. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools and some disassembly of the refrigerator. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply.
