Step 1: Unplug your dryer from the wall.

Step 2: Locate and remove the screws that secure the lint filter cover in place.

Step 3: Remove the lint filter cover from the dryer.

Step 4: Carefully pull out the old lint filter from its frame.

Step 5: Remove any lint or debris from the lint filter frame.

Step 6: Insert the replacement W10828351 Whirlpool Lint Screen Filter with Cover into the frame.

Step 7: Make sure the lint filter is properly secured into the frame.

Step 8: Secure the lint filter cover back onto the dryer using the screws previously removed.

Step 9: Plug your dryer back into the wall and test the function of the new lint filter.
