DRNEXT4 Whirlpool 4' Washer Outer Drain Hose Extension Kit
This Washer Outer Drain Hose Extension Kit is used to extend the drain hose so the wash water can drain to a sink, tub, or drain hole. Due to its flexible design, the corrugated hose is virtually impossible to kink, especially when comparing it to rubber hoses. The Washer Drain Hose has a larger inside diameter that makes it less likely to plug. Includes (1) 4' drain hose with one fitted end, (1) hose coupler and (2) clamps. This is an accessory that can be used with several brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools and novice installation experience. Remember to unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. You should also shut off the washer's hot and cold water supply before replacing this part.

Step 1: Turn off the water supply. To do this, locate the shut-off valve and turn it off in a clockwise direction.
Step 2: Place a bucket or basin under the existing hose connection to catch any excess water that may come out.
Step 3: Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nut connecting the existing hose to the Whirlpool DRNEXT4.
Step 4: Detach the old hose from the appliance and discard it.
Step 5: Take the new hose and attach it to the appliance. Make sure the connection is tight and secure before proceeding.
Step 6: Place the other end of the hose into the faucet and tighten the connection.
Step 7: Turn on the water supply, check for any leaks, and then test the Whirlpool DRNEXT4 for proper operation.
Step 8: Once everything is working, turn off the water supply and store any tools used for future reference.
