Replacing the Speed Queen D511036 Hinge Door
1. Unplug the washing machine from the power source and shut off the water supply.
2. Carefully open the washing machine lid and remove any items from the tub.
3. Remove the four screws that hold the top panel in place.
4. Carefully lift up the top panel and fold it back to expose the hinges.
5. Remove the screws that join the existing hinge to the washer cabinet.
6. Take off the old hinge and discard it.
7. Place the new hinge in position, making sure all the holes line up.
8. Secure the hinge in place with the screws, ensuring they are properly secured.
9. Flip down the top panel and replace the four screws.
10. Plug in the washing machine and turn on the water supply.
11. Test the new hinge and lid to make sure the door operates correctly.
