Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and make sure that all the food has been removed from it.
Step 2: Locate the shelves and remove them from their brackets. Depending on the model, you may need to unscrew them out or just slide them out.
Step 3: Remove the damaged shelf.
Step 4: Take out the new Whirlpool WP2149540 shelf and slide it into place. Make sure the new shelf fits securely into the bracket.
Step 5: Adjust the levelers so the new shelf sits flat.
Step 6: Put back the food in the refrigerator.
Step 7: Plug the refrigerator back in and turn it on.
Now your fridge is looking great with a new Whirlpool WP2149540 shelf in place!
