W10822606 Whirlpool Dishwasher Dispenser Motor
This SxS Refrigerator Ice Auger Motor drives the auger in the ice bucket and pushes the ice cubes through the dispenser chute. When removing the old motor, be sure to support it when releasing the last screw. The design of the new Auger Motor has been slightly altered to include a washer that stretches over the drive shaft. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

1. Unplug the refrigerator and turn off the water supply to it.
2. Find and remove the screws holding the ice dispenser cover in place, then carefully lift the cover off and set aside.
3. Remove the two mounting screws that secure the old W10822606 Whirlpool dispense motor to the side of the dispenser, and then unplug the wiring harness from the back of the motor.
4. Locate the new W10822606 Whirlpool dispense motor and plug the wiring harness into the back of the new motor.
5. Align the mounting holes on the new dispense motor with the mounting holes on the side of the dispenser, and then secure the motor with the two screws you removed earlier.
6. Plug the refrigerator back in, then turn on the water supply and check for any leaks.
7. Place the ice dispenser cover back onto the refrigerator and secure it with the screws.
8. Press the reset button, then test the ice dispenser to make sure it is working properly. Enjoy your newly replaced Whirlpool Dispenser Motor!
