Step 1: Unplug the Dishwasher - Before you begin any repair, make sure to unplug the dishwasher from the power source.
Step 2: Remove Front Access Panel - Disengage the screws that secure the access panel in place and carefully remove it.
Step 3: Access Switch - Carefully unscrew the switch and gently pull it out of the dishwasher.
Step 4: Install Replacement Switch - Slide the new WPW10237959 Whirlpool Door Switch into the dishwasher, being careful to not pinch any wires or other components. Secure it with the screws.
Step 5: Check Connections - Double-check all of your connections to ensure that everything is securely plugged in.
Step 6: Reattach Front Access Panel - Place the access panel back on the dishwasher and reattach the screws.
Step 7: Plug in the Dishwasher - Finally, plug the dishwasher back in to the power source and check its operation.
