Replacing the Whirlpool WP7406P218-60 ELMNT-BROLM Control Board
DIY Instructions
1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
2. Open up your appliance and locate the control board. It’s usually located behind the temperature control panel.
3. Remove the screws securing the control board in place and gently pull it out.
4. Pull out the connecting wires from the old board and disconnect them.
5. Place the new control board into position and reattach the connecting wires.
6. Secured the control board with the screws you removed earlier.
7. Close up the appliance.
8. Plug the appliance back in and turn it on.
9. Check the settings and make sure everything is working properly before completing the replacement.
