WP74008014 Whirlpool Range Oven Door Hinge
This Built-in Oven Door Hinge allows the door of your wall oven to close properly and ensures it will safely remain open at an angle during use. Note that two hinges are used per oven; hinges are sold separately. This part measures 20-1/2" L and can be used for both the left-hand and right-hand sides. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the oven and novice repair experience. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the oven before installing this part.

Replacing the Whirlpool WP74008014 HNGE-DOOR-ITEM
1. Gather the necessary tools needed for the work before starting the replacement process. You need a Phillips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver and pliers.
2. Unplug the appliance to disconnect the power. It is important to do this step before attempting to work on the appliance.
3. Remove the screws at the top and bottom of the door assembly. Use the Phillips screwdriver to do this.
4. Carefully lift off the entire door assembly from the appliance. Put it in a secure space so that it won’t get damaged.
5. Now, you have access to the Whirlpool WP74008014 HNGE-DOOR-ITEM. Start by loosening the mounting screws at the sides of the part. Use the flat-head screwdriver to do this.
6. With the screws removed, carefully remove the part from the appliance.
7. As a preventative measure, clean around the surrounding area to remove any debris or dust.
8. Insert the new Whirlpool WP74008014 HNGE-DOOR-ITEM into its place in the appliance and make sure it is properly seated.
9. Secure the mounting screws at the sides to hold it in place. Use the flat-head screwdriver again.
10. Put the door assembly back onto the appliance and make sure it is properly aligned. Secure the screws at the top and bottom with the Phillips screwdriver.
11. Plug the appliance back in to restore power and test the new Whirlpool WP74008014 HNGE-DOOR-ITEM.
