Replacing the Whirlpool WP12642303WD Brace
DIY Instructions
1. Unplug the appliance and shut off the power supply to the appliance before beginning any repair work.
2. Remove the cabinet panel by unscrewing the screws on the side of the appliance and detaching it from the body of the appliance.
3. Remove the old brace from the appliance. You may need to use a screwdriver or pliers to do this.
4. Insert the new brace into the allotted space inside the appliance.
5. Use screws to affix the new brace in place.
6. Reattach the cabinet panel by using the same screws that were used to take it off.
7. Once the cabinet panel is secure, turn the power supply back on to the appliance and plug it back in to test the new brace.
8. If all is working properly, you’re done!
