This Range Oven Door Vent, Black attaches to the top of the oven door and houses the door handle. This Oven Door Vent vents hot air out of the oven. The vent measures approximately 30-1/2" L x 20" W. This door vent does not come with the attachment screws, save the screws from the origional part for re-installation. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10310922 TRIM-VENT
1. Shut off power to the appliance. To do this, unplug the power cord or turn off the circuit breaker at the electrical service panel.
2. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the two screws that secure the trim-vent to the back of the oven.
3. Carefully pull the trim-vent away from the back of the oven and then remove the old trim-vent.
4. Take the new trim-vent and insert it into the back of the oven. Make sure the tabs on the trim-vent fit securely into the slots on the oven.
5. Secure the trim-vent with the two screws you removed in step 2.
6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet or turn the circuit breaker back on at the electrical service panel.
7. Turn the oven on to make sure the trim-vent is working properly.
