Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10299227 Hinge-Door
1. Start by unplugging your appliance and ensuring that the power is off.
2. Locate and remove the screws that secure the top of the door hinge.
3. To remove the door, grasp it on the sides and lift it off the lower hinge.
4. Take out the old hinge and replace it with the new one. Make sure to position it properly so it will fit the mounting holes when you put the door back in place.
5. Put the door back in place, aligning the upper and lower hinge pins with the mounting holes.
6. Secure the door by replacing the screws that held the top hinge in place.
7. Plug in the appliance and check to make sure the door opens and closes smoothly.
8. You’re all done!
