WP99002598 Whirlpool Door Spring

1. Unplug the appliance before you begin.
2. Open the door of the appliance and examine the existing spring-door.
3. Take note of the size and shape of the spring-door so that you have the correct replacement part.
4. Using a hex head screwdriver, loosen the screws that attach the spring-door to the appliance and remove the spring-door.
5. Insert the new spring-door into the appliance in the same way as the old one, making sure that the sides line up correctly.
6. Secure the spring-door with the screws you previously removed, tightening them with your hex head screwdriver.
7. Close the door of the appliance and plug it back in.
8. Test the door to make sure that the spring-door works correctly.
