W10833885 Whirlpool Temperature Sensor
The Range Temperature Sensor measures the oven temperature. If your oven isn't holding the correct temperature, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Remove the rear access panel to access the old sensor. Depress the tab to disconnect the sensor wire connector. unscrew the sensor mounting screw and pull out the old sensor. Insert the new sensor into the hole of the rear panel and replace the mounting screw to secure. Reconnect the wire connector and secure the access panel back into place. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing. Also make sure to shut off the gas.

Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator from its power source.
Step 2: Remove any food or items stored in the freezer door, drawers, and shelves.
Step 3: Using a screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the freezer liner in place. Locate the Whirlpool W10833885 SENSOR on the back of the refrigerator.
Step 4: Carefully disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor.
Step 5: Gently pull the sensor out of its mounting bracket.
Step 6: Install the new sensor into the mounting bracket. Make sure it’s securely fastened.
Step 7: Reconnect the wiring harness to the new sensor.
Step 8: Replace the freezer liner and secure the screws with a screwdriver.
Step 9: Plug the refrigerator back into the power source.
Step 10: Test the new sensor by running the refrigerator for an hour to ensure that it is working properly.
