WPY0063532 Whirlpool Broil Element
This Electric Range Broil Element is located at the top of the oven and provides constant heat to the broiler when cooking. If your broiler does not heat up properly, the element has likely shorted out and will need to be replaced. Note that you’ll need to reuse the mounting screws from the existing part to complete this repair. Replacing the element will require basic hand tools and some disassembly of the oven. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Be mindful not to let the wires connected to the current part fall back inside the oven when you disconnect them; retrieval of the wires will require additional steps during the installation.
