WP8268433 Whirlpool Seal
This Dishwasher Upper Spray Arm Seal prevents water leaks through fittings or connections at the spray arm, and is what the spray arm sits on. To access the part, pull the upper rack out of the dishwasher and remove the screw holding in the supply tube. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the appliance and no repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. You must also turn off the water supply underneath the sink before installation. 1. Unplug your refrigerator and prepare to replace the Whirlpool WP8268433 SEAL.
2. Remove all food items and shelves from the fridge so that you can access the seal.
3. Locate the edges of the existing seal and use a putty knife to carefully remove it from the door frame.
4. Clean the door frame with a damp cloth to remove any residue from the old seal.
5. Measure the size of the new Whirlpool WP8268433 SEAL against the door frame and cut it to fit.
6. Place the seal in the door frame and use a rubber mallet to tap it if necessary.
7. Secure the seal in the door frame with sealant, and make sure all corners are firmly attached.
8. Replace the shelves and food items into the refrigerator, and plug it in.
9. Check the seal for tightness and make sure there are no gaps in the seal.
10. Once you have confirmed the seal is secure, you have successfully replaced the Whirlpool WP8268433 SEAL on your refrigerator.
