Replacing the Whirlpool WP1118001 Hinge-Pin: DIY Instructions
1. Before you begin, make sure your power has been shut off to your appliance.
2. With a flathead screwdriver, remove the two screws that are securing the broken hinge-pin.
3. Remove the old hinge-pin and then take the new hinge-pin and attach it in its place.
4. Align the holes of the new hinge-pin with the holes of the door and refrigerator frame.
5. Secure the hinge-pin with the original screws that were removed earlier.
6. Test the pin’s secureness by opening and closing the door several times.
7. If everything is working properly, put the power back on.
