WPW10503549 Whirlpool Dishwasher Retainer Clip
The Dishwasher Access Panel Retainer Clip secures the kickplate to the bottom of the appliance. If your dishwasher's current clips are broken or damaged and no longer properly holding the access panel in place, you can easily replace them with this item. The stop clip is white in color and measures approximately 1" L. Clips are sold separately. Installing this accessory will not require tools, disassembly or repair experience. Step 1: Shut off power to the dishwasher by unplugging it or shutting off the circuit breaker.
Step 2: Remove the racks and other items from the dishwasher.
Step 3: Take off the interior door panel to gain access to the retainer clip.
Step 4: Disconnect the electrical connection for the dishwasher by carefully pulling off the wires.
Step 5: Unscrew the screws located on the panel and around the retainer clip.
Step 6: Carefully lift up the panel to access the clip.
Step 7: Remove the old WPW10503549 Whirlpool Dishwasher Retainer Clip and discard.
Step 8: Place the new WPW10503549 Whirlpool Dishwasher Retainer Clip in place.
Step 9: Re-attach the wiring, re-attach the screws, and replace the interior door panel.
Step 10: Plug the dishwasher back in or turn the circuit breaker on and test the new clip.
