WPW10276397 Whirlpool Water Pump
This Top Load Washer Drain Pump removes waste water from your washer during the drain portion of the wash cycle. This assembly includes the drain pump and installation instructions. If your washer doesn’t drain properly, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.

Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator from its power source and turn off the water supply to the refrigerator.
Step 2: Remove the lower back panel inside the refrigerator and disconnect the water line and drain hose running to the pump.
Step 3: Loosen the clamp that holds the pump in place and remove the old pump.
Step 4: Install the new Whirlpool WPW10276397 PUMP-WATER and secure it in place with the clamp.
Step 5: Reconnect the water line and drain hose running to the pump.
Step 6: Replace the lower back panel and plug the refrigerator into its power source.
Step 7: Turn on the water supply to the refrigerator and check for leaks.
