DIY Instructions: How to Replace a Whirlpool Refrigerator Glass Shelf Assembly (WPW10276341)
Tools Needed:
• Philips Head Screwdriver
• Flathead Screwdriver
• Pliers
Step 1: Unplug your refrigerator from the power outlet.
Step 2: Open the refrigerator door to locate the shelf assembly. The shelf assembly is usually located at the top of the refrigerator and can be identified by the handle or grooved edges, depending on the model.
Step 3: Remove the screws that hold the shelf assembly in place. Use either a Philips head screwdriver or a flathead screwdriver depending on the type of screws used.
Step 4: Grasp the shelf assembly with both hands and pull gently to remove it from the fridge. Be careful not to damage the other shelves when removing the shelf assembly.
Step 5: Attach the new shelf assembly by reversing the steps you took to remove the old assembly. Use the same type of screws to secure the shelf assembly in place.
Step 6: Once the shelf assembly is secured in place, plug the refrigerator back in and you are done! Enjoy your new shelf assembly.
