WPW10208415 Whirlpool Washer Dryer Door Hinge
This Front Load Washer Door Hinge supports the appliance door on the front panel and allows the door to pivot open and closed. If the existing hinge is damaged or bent, you can easily replace it with this part. This replacement hinge is constructed of sturdy metal and measures approx. 10" L x 1-3/4" W. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the oven before installing this part. Also be sure to shut off your hot and cold water supplies. Note that you'll need to reuse the (4) hinge end caps from the existing part or purchase new ones. 1. Before starting your repair, you should unplug your appliance or shut off the power at the circuit breaker to avoid the risk of electric shock or injury.
2. Open the refrigerator door and locate the WPW10208415 Whirlpool Door Hinge.
3. Remove the screws that connect the hinge to the door and the main body of the refrigerator.
4. Carefully remove the old hinge from the refrigerator door.
5. Place the new WPW10208415 Whirlpool Door Hinge firmly in position, then secure it by screwing it back into place.
6. Reattach the refrigerator door to the main body of the refrigerator.
