The Dishwasher Door Gasket creates a seal around the dishwasher to prevent water from leaking out. If the door seal is torn or the dishwasher is leaking water, replacing the part may alleviate these issues. Note that the faulty dispenser latch gasket more commonly causes a leaking dishwasher than a damaged door gasket. Step 1: Unplug the Refrigerator
