This Range Downdraft Vent Grease Filter traps grease and particulates from the exhaust air of your oven to help prevent it from entering the blower and vent, potentially causing build-up and damage. If your current filter can no longer be cleaned and is not functioning properly, you should replace it promptly with this item. This aluminum mesh filter is an accessory that can be used across several JennAir® models; check to see if your model number is compatible. Please note: JennAir® has designed this new filter 1/2". narrower than the old filter. Replacing this accessory will require no disassembly or repair experience. Disconnect the appliance before installing.

Replacing the Whirlpool Range Hood Grease Filter (WP71002111)
Tools and materials you will need:
• Screwdriver
• New grease filter (WP71002111)
Instructions:
1. Before starting, make sure to turn off the power to the range hood at the circuit breaker for safety.
2. Take off the front cover of the range hood with a screwdriver.
3. Locate the old grease filter (WP71002111) and remove it.
4. Slide the new filter into place and make sure it is firmly secured.
5. Replace the front cover of the range hood and turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
Your Whirlpool Range Hood Grease Filter (WP71002111) has now been replaced. If you have any issues while performing this procedure, please contact a qualified technician.
