Replacing your Frigidaire PureSource Ultra Water Filter with a ULTRAWF can dramatically improve the taste and quality of your water. This simple DIY guide will help you quickly and easily replace the filter, so you can enjoy fresh, filtered water right away.
1. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator by turning the valve directly behind the fridge clockwise until it is fully closed.
2. Pull out the old ULTRAWF filter. You may need to give it a gentle pull to remove it from the refrigerator.
3. Take the new ULTRAWF filter and insert into the filter housing in the refrigerator. Make sure to push it in firmly, ensuring that it is securely locked in place.
4. Turn on the water supply by turning the valve behind the fridge counterclockwise until it is fully opened.
5. Run some cold water through the filter for a few minutes to make sure the filter is working properly and there are no leaks.
6. Discard the old ULTRAWF filter according to your local regulations.
