WP8053807 Whirlpool Oven Door Hinge
The Range Oven Door Hinge allows the door of your oven to close properly and ensures it will safely remain open at an angle during use. If your oven is no longer closing or staying open properly, replacing the hinge may alleviate these issues. Note that two hinges are required per oven; hinges are sold separately. This replacement part can be used for the left or right side of painted oven doors. Additionally, the hinge can be installed in both gas and electric ranges; check to see if your model is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the oven and novice repair experience. You must unplug the oven or shut off the house circuit breaker for the oven before installing this part. Recommended Item: If the hinges of your oven have never been replaced, we suggest that you also replace the door hinge receptacle kit at the same time you complete this repair.
