W11088181 Whirlpool Surface Element Switch
This Range Element Control Switch turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. To access the part, you'll need to remove the back panel of the range. Depending upon your model, you may not have the same terminal blocks and you may need to swap out your wires one at a time. This infinite control switch is a double flat shaft, screw mount switch. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

Replacing the Whirlpool W11088181 SWITCH-INF
DIY Instructions:
1. Unplug your appliance from the wall outlet and turn it off.
2. Gently lift up on the control panel to access and remove the old switch.
3. Carefully remove the wiring harness from the old switch and note how it’s connected.
4. Take the new Whirlpool W11088181 switch, and connect the wiring harness to the same pins as before.
5. Re-install the new switch and secure it with the included mounting screws.
6. Reconnect the appliance to the power outlet and turn on.
7. Test the switch to make sure it’s working properly.
