The Dishwasher Cabinet Seal fills the gap between the appliance and the cabinet, serving as a sound barrier. To access and remove the old part, you'll need to unscrew the dishwasher from the counter and pull it forward. If the existing cabinet seal is cracked, damaged or missing, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing the seal will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience.
