Replacing the Speed Queen 200923 BELT,AGITATE & SPIN-GRN Laundry Washer
1. Start by unplugging the laundry washer from the power outlet and turn off the water supply before detaching the hoses connected to it.
2. Now, open the top lid of the laundry washer and remove the bolt that is holding the agitating paddle in place. At this point, you will be able to see the green belt under the machine.
3. Next, use a flathead screwdriver to manually loosen the tension on the green belt. This will release it from the pulley so that you can take it off.
4. Take the new belt, or Speed Queen 200923 Green Belt Kit, and carefully thread it through the small opening of the pulley from the backside. Make sure to keep it tight as you thread it.
5. Now, rotate the pulley so that the belt is automatically tightened around it.
6. Lastly, secure the new belt with the bolt, connect the hoses, and plug in the laundry washer. The replacement process is complete.
