Replacing the Whirlpool Wire Shelf (WPW10318948 WPW1038948)
Tools you will need:
-A Phillips head screwdriver
-A pair of pliers
-A replacement Whirlpool wire shelf (WPW10318948 WPW1038948)
Instructions:
1. Empty the fridge and freezer of all its contents. You will want to close and lock the door for safety.
2. Locate the screws or bolts that are holding the wire shelf in place. You may need your Phillips head screwdriver for this step.
3. Unscrew or unbolt the screws or bolts and then carefully remove the shelf from its place.
4. Take your pliers and carefully remove the faulty shelf from the rail by squeezing the plastic clips that are holding it in place.
5. Place the new Whirlpool wire shelf (WPW10318948 WPW1038948) on the rail and secure it in place by lightly pushing the plastic clips with your fingers.
6. Use your Phillips head screwdriver to reattach the screws or bolts that hold the shelf in place.
7. Replace all the items previously removed and your installation is complete.
