Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10296571 Shelf-Glass
1. Prepare to replace the shelf-glass. Gather the necessary tools and safety gear, including gloves, safety glasses, and a Phillips head screwdriver.
2. Shut off the electricity. Unplug the appliance and shut off any power switches that are connected.
3. Remove the old shelf-glass. Open the refrigerator door and locate the screws that secure the glass shelf to the door frame. Remove the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Install the new shelf-glass. Place the new shelf-glass in the same position as the old glass shelf and replace the screws. Make sure the screws are securely in place.
5. Test the shelf-glass. Close the refrigerator door to test the fit of the new shelf-glass. Make any necessary adjustments until the shelf-glass is secure and aligned in the door frame.
6. Restore the power. Once all adjustments are complete, plug the refrigerator back in and turn any connected power switches back on.
