The SxS Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker. The package includes the new water valve, instructions, ¼" tubing and a plastic ¼" coupler. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and intermediate repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin.

Replacing the water inlet valve on your Whirlpool washing machine is an essential part of maintaining your appliance. Follow this step-by-step guide to replace your old WPW10238100 water inlet valve with ease.
Materials Needed:
• Whirlpool WPW10238100 Water Inlet Valve
• Phillips or flathead screwdriver
• Wrench
Instructions:
1. Unplug your washing machine from the wall socket to ensure there’s no power running to the appliance.
2. Pop off the top panel of the machine by using a flathead screwdriver.
3. Find the water inlet valve and disconnect the hoses connected to it. Use a wrench to unscrew the hoses if necessary.
